BIPA, BEFORE THE CAMPUS

Before choosing a campus,
start with BIPA

What is BIPA?

Indonesian for speakers of other languages

BIPA stands for Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing. Indonesia's government sets national learning standards for the programme, while the routes Doro coordinates are taught by local universities. You learn speaking, listening, reading and writing alongside the culture and practical life around the language.

The regular route Doro coordinates runs from beginner to advanced across three stages. Each stage is roughly four months, so the full sequence takes about a year.

Why BIPA?

Language study with a record of local experience

This is more than a short conversation course. It is one of the most structured university routes available to international learners of Indonesian. You study language and culture with university instructors under national learning standards, and finish with an official record from the university.

Employers and institutions recruiting for Indonesia roles use BIPA completion as an important indicator of Indonesian ability. Live job listings place BIPA alongside OPI and FLEX in their preferred language criteria.

What is DORO?

More than an application service

We help choose the course and neighbourhood, track application timing, find housing, arrange airport pickup and join you for check-in. After arrival, we also help with the practical hurdles that often slow down a first week, including SIM and IMEI setup, transport apps, local payments and banking information.

Doro reduces the things you would otherwise have to figure out alone. We travel the road into Indonesia with you.

Doro works onYour stay and what comes next

We look at your departure date and plans beyond the course before mapping the available stay route.

Where you study and how you spend your time in Indonesia are connected, but they are not the same decision. Your status and documents always follow the university and immigration rules in force when you apply.

FROM PLAN TO ARRIVAL

Tell us why
Indonesia is on your mind

You do not need to arrive knowing which school or stay route fits. We start with your purpose and timing, then put the work in order.

  1. 01

    Start with the reason

Tell us whether Indonesia means work, a business plan or time to experience the country properly. The right campus and length depend on that answer.

  2. 02

    Compare all three campuses

We look at class format, intake timing and daily life across UI Depok, UMN Jakarta and UMN Serpong.

  3. 03

Line up admission and stay planning

We match the application schedule to your departure plan, then check the available stay route and documents at the time you apply.

  4. 04

Plan the home and the arrival

We help look for housing that fits your budget and commute, coordinate the move and plan the trip from the airport.

  5. 05

    Keep a local contact

We work through the first practical jobs after arrival and stay reachable when something does not go to plan.
